Meet Terri Kruger, in the Archives and Special Collections Seminar Room at Collins Library as she presents select items from her inkwell collection. Learn the history of inkwells and their evolution through the centuries followed by a 15 minute Q&A period. Afterwards, Join Mark Hoppmann and Jane Carlin downstairs for a docent's tour of the Exhibition, Scripts & Scribes & Scribbles. Terri (Kruger) has collected and researched antique inkwells and desk accessories from all over the world, mostly dating from the Golden Age of Handwriting (1870-1920). She is a professional Lettering Artist in the Puget Sound area, specializing in calligraphy for certificates, weddings, and teaching.
