Link to Google Earth Hong Kong to Astoria(Portland) Trip.

You will need Google Earth installed on you computer for the following
to work.
I have posted this on my web site. If you click on the URL link below
the browser should load it in Google Earth. After it loads select the
first item in your Temporary Places list in google earth (on the left of
your screen). I am still experimenting with this, so it's a bit crude.
I will keep adding comments and other bits to the kmz file over the next
few weeks. You may want to check back for new updates.

A short time ago Mike Maurice made a comment about the difficulty in getting
charts and sailing information about Japan. Here is a link to the Japan
Hydrographic Office web site. All available charts, etc. are available
through this site. This is where I purchase all my Japan charts.

I hope this is helpful for anyone planning to cruise in/around Japan.
