Hi,
I have a fluke 540b that I am selling cheap AUD 120 , but postage from Australia would probably be a killer

Hi,
I need to calibrate my 5200B AC calibrator, and I find that my Fluke 540B has a bad thermocouple, and the 540B I bought on eBay to replace it has a missing thermocouple....
Does anyone have Fluke 540B, with a good thermocouple, that I can buy?
Or, an A54-2 with a good thermocouple?
Or, a good thermocouple?
Or a better, but affordable, way to calibrate a 5200A AC calibrator?
Thanks!

Hi Ken,
Yes, I think shipping from Australia would be a little steep.
I bought another on eBay that is complete... We will see if it
has a good thermocouple...
I wonder how many of these things I am going to have to buy
before I have a complete working calibratable unit?
Thanks for the offer...

Hi John,
How much didn't I pay?
Thus far, I had one 540B on my shelf, that I don't recall how much I
paid... it developed a bad thermocouple whilst sitting there.
I bought another for $100, that had the thermocouple removed... undisclosed.
I got $70 back on that one.
I bought another for $125 that has a thermocouple... Still waiting.
And another two at $35, that have thermocouples... Still waiting.
Let's not forget that each cost me about $30-$40 shipping.
So, hopefully one will be the gem I want for my lab, and the others
will go back on the bay after they are fixed... if they can be fixed.
How much did I pay?
Way too much!
