FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: January 8, 2019
___________
The City of Auburn and the Auburn Arts Commission are pleased to present the work of Roxanne Everett at the Cheryl Sallee Gallery, on view January 9th - March 7th, 2019.
Roxanne Everett's work is about the natural landscape. She uses acrylic paint to "document both accurate or (sometimes) abstract representations" of areas she is familiar with. Inspired by a number of recent artist residencies in Iceland, the artist seeks to "capture images of the patterns, textures and reflections found across that country's landscape."
