We have owned a 36 foot Endeavour Trawler Cat since April of 2004 and
have completed about 1/2 of the Great Loop, coming from Brunswick,
Georgia to Charlevoix, MI.  We looked at PDQ's, but were put off by the
flying bridge and the necessity to have repeater devices for the flying
bridge on the PDQ which also has more windage.  We are happy with the
Endeavour for all those reasons one buys a Cat.  I agree with Ron that
you should try out both boats and see what YOU like best.  Both are
seaworthy and both have advantages and disadvantages.  I think the PDQ
gets better fuel mileage, but costs more initially.  We have wider hulls
with more space to pass in the galley.  I could go on and on, but the
choices become more personal than objective.  If you want to discuss
this more outside of this group, just e-mail me. Bill Fleck; B and B.
