Possible Leucism in Mallard?

noticed a mallard at hammonasset with a white patch from the base of the neck to the top of the breast. Is this leucism or some type of hybrid? Picture on eBird checklist.

Autumn,

There's been a drake domestic mallard fitting that description, for some
time, at Hammonasset. Check out online images of "Duclair Duck".
