Dear Loopers,
Most of you are familiar with the Hudson River. Five miles wide at Tappan
Zee, 200 feet deep at West Point ... the Mighty Hudson River.
And when you reach Fort Edward (my home) on the Champlain Canal section of
the Hudson, you make a right turn, leave the river and take the land cut up
to Lake Champlain and Canada. But have you ever wondered what's north of
Fort Edward on the natural river?
Here's my page with a few pictures of the headwaters. I'll add more
photos later, but this will give you an idea of what it looks like:
