I had a chance to chat with the Wilsons in Horta when the Nordhavn Atlantic Rally stopped over in the Azores last summer. They were waiting for weather for a passage to Newfoundland on their way home to New England aboard Karma, their Nordhavn 62 As they had circumnavigated once before--under sail in a Sundeer--completing a second circumnavigation was not that important to them. They took the boat south as far as Florida, where it now is for sale. As they started their second voyage in California, they have not completely closed the circle on a second circumnavigation. But that is not to take way anything from the Wilsons and the many sea miles they have put behind them.
