I had 4 ea 8D's onboard at one time. When he came time to replace them I went back with a total of 12 ea  6volt GC2 from Sams. They are much lighter. $84. ea at Sams and they stock them by the pallet load. Each 8D I removed left physical space for 3 ea Golf Cart Batteries. Very Satisfied with the installation.

Trojan;s are good batteries although I did not use them. Make sure you check the physical dimensions of what ever you use to make sure they will fit your battery boxes and the orientation of the top caps and posts. The last 12 gold cart batteries I got in June the Orientation of the terminal and the threaded post on top of the terminal as well as the location of the cells had changed and it made it interesting cabling back with the original cables but I got it done.
They had moved the threaded stud off the top of the terminal and positioned it near the terminal but no longer on top
of the terminal.
