Georgs;
I read with interest your inquiry about slip space with an Endeavour
Cat. We took possession of our 44 foot Endeavour cat in May 2005 at
the factory in Clearwater Florida. We traveled to Tampa and then back
to Clearwater and then made the jump across to Carrabelle Florida.
The trip was 169 miles. We got moorage in Carrabelle and every place
along the intercoastal to Mobile Ala. We then traveled up the Mobile
River to the Tenn. Tom, then to the big ditch. The trip took us to
Nashville, TN. Nashville, was the only place that we did not have a
slip. We were tied off to the show dock. A lot of the places we
stayed even provided us with covered slips.
So, in essence, I would not have any hesitancy in purchasing this
boat with concern about slip space. Along with that, when we left
Carrabelle we encountered Seas in the area of 8 to 10 feet. This did
not present any trouble for this boat, it just sliced through them
life butter.
Yes, we are definitely sold on our boat. At 8 knots burning 3 to 4
gallons per hour, and that is for both engines.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to drop me a line.
