Sunday Racing Results

To All -

Only three boats raced on Sunday. Results attached. Zoom and Encore raced
the spinnaker course, and Aeolus raced alone on the non-spinnaker course.
(Sigh. It was lonely.) The weather was crazy, starting with a lovely breeze
off the south. We sailed to C mark down by the Bridge, and had turned the
corner to go for Mark E when the rain hit. Big huge, cold drops that felt
really good. Nobody wanted foul weather gear. For the rest of the race the
showers were hit and miss. We never really lost the wind until just before
the finish. We ghosted over the line, got the horn, and turned on the "iron
jib" to get out of the way of the one-designs.

Don't believe everything you read in the Telltale. This Wednesday (September
2nd) is the last official Wednesday Night race, followed by the Turkey
Pursuit Race on Wednesday, September 9th. There are three races scheduled
for the Labor Day Weekend regatta, and five Sunday races after that.  The
bottom line - there's lots of racing left this season!

See you on the water.
