Free rain barrel making classes

The Pierce Conservation District will be sponsoring two rain barrel
making classes with funding from the City of Tacoma's Make a Splash
grant and in collaboration with the UW-Tacoma Environmental Program.
These free classes will take place Mondays, March 21 and April 4, 6-7:30
p.m. Participants will learn about rainwater harvesting, and will be
walked through the process of putting a rain barrel together that they
will get to take home. Call Rene' at the Pierce Conservation District
253 845-9770 x 106 to register. No email registrations accepted. Limit
one barrel per household.
