Hello,
My tire popped today entering the neighborhood as a result of the construction. I have heard that this has happened to some others in the neighborhood recently as well. I complained to TxDOT about this today as they should be making a greater effort to cleanup.
Any other ideas about how to get them to keep the roads cleaner? Should we contact as an HOA?
Thanks,
Lauren

Tx dot is a joke
They all work at NASA on the weekends. Rocket scientist you know.
They are the idiots that approved to change the lanes to one way before the roads were stripped, the turn A rounds open, the on and off Ramps open or the lights working !!

TxDOT does listen to the HOAs. They also listen to the county judge and commissioners. I recommend folks call Nelson Wolff at 210-335-3019 and Kevin Wolff at 210-335-2613. You could also talk to the District Engineer for TxDOT. Getting all of the HOAs together and lodging a formal complaint or request is about the only way to get their attention.

Protocol or contract. TxDOT writes very weak contracts and may not be enforcing them. The Fair Oaks Ranch overpass project is one of the worst I’ve seen. TxDOT hasn’t enforced their contract and it’s not high on their priority. Complaints to the Wolffs is the only way to get things changed.

Lauren,So sorry that happened. I hope you weren't stranded too long. This happened to me in another city. You can actually file a claim to be reimbursed for the damages.
Best,Shannon
