Volunteer fire department holds monthly meetings to discuss fire department
business. Would these be subject to the OMA? Specifically, are these
meetings required to be open to the public? I can see arguments for why
they should be open to the public, but can't find anything I feel is
determinative of the question. I've heard there is an AG's opinion on the
issue that I am attempting to track down also.

If it is a title 11 or 19 fire department, it is subject to the Open Meeting Act. If title 18, I’m not sure
