I am in the procees of trying to locate vendors that supply steel trawler kits. All I seem to be able to locate is Bruce Roberts which appears to be a good source, but I would like to know if you are aware of any other businesses that supply trawler kits for the home builder. My second question may be difficult for you to answer. Is there any source where I can get a general idea what it will cost for the other systems involved with completeing a trawler. I am not looking for exact prices for any possible system, more like a range of prices for the following catagories: +/-150 hp diesel engine/gear reduction/ shaft/prop/steering 12 kv genset with asso. inverter/ battery banks/panels navigation setup including a GPS/plotter/auto pilot I have been able to get estimates for the other systems like painting, interior completion, anchor systems, etc, etc, etc from your magazine and the net. I you are unable to answer the question about the three catagories listed, could you hook me up with a vendor that would provide catalogs and/or information on these subjects.
