From John Oshlick:
01/25/15 - Enfield, Enfield boat ramp -- 2 Barnacle Geese straight
across the river.  (Bill Asteriedies found a Greater White-fronted
Goose.)

From Bill Asteriades:
01/25/15 - Enfield -- In addition to the two Barnacle Geese and
Greater White-fronted Goose, the Barrow's Goldeneye continues off St
Patrick's Cemetery in Enfield viewed from River Boulevard in Suffield.
Access to the cemetery may be limited due to the snow. River Boulevard
is narrow and there are no pull-off's so viewing may be difficult (no
traffic early this morning).
South Glastonbury, Great Pond Road -- ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK, light phase.

From Paul Desjardins:
01/25/15 - Enfield -- The Barrow’s Goldeneye put in a brief appearance
in the morning, seen south of the boat launch (with Common
Goldeneyes).

From Jason and Anthony Rieger:
01/25/15 - Madison, boat launch down Neck Rd -- Rough-legged Hawk
continues, perched on martin house pole.

From Lynnette Clemens & Fulvio Montanari:
01/25/15 - Greenwich, Greenwich Point -- A flock of Snow Buntings
south of the 2nd concession near the point with the big rock, working
the grassy area along the path, flying up into the big tree when
walkers disrupt them.

From Dan Rottino & Family:
01/25/15 - Enfield, Donald P Barnes Boat Launch -- 12:30-2:30 PM;  2
BARNACLE GOOSE across the river on the ice to the right of the last
bridge structure.  Seen with many others.  The BARROW'S GOLDENEYE was
seen at 2:30 PM from the boat launch area about half way between the
boat launch and the bridge looking towards the south.  Spotted at this
time by Olaf and Dan M from across the river.

From Fran Zygmont:
01/25/15 - Barkhamsted yard -- 1 common Redpoll feeding with the Pine
Siskins (and Goldfinches) at the 1 PM frenzy.  (Goldfinches still out
number siskins but now by a narrow margin - ~80 to ~60.)

From Nick Bonomo and Daniel Field:
01/25/15 - had the continuing first cycle GLAUCOUS GULL at the city
pier in New London. The bird readily comes in for food.

From Larry Reiter:
01/25/15 - Stonington, Lambert Cove -- 5:15; Sandhill Crane showed up.
Good luck after tomorrow morning.

From Paul Smith:
01/25/15 - Guilford, East River boat launch -- Rough-legged Hawk at
the boat launch being harassed by an owl at sunset tonight.  Not
certain of the owl's identity, possibly a Short-Eared Owl.

From Carolyn Johns:
01/25/15 - Stonington -- I saw the Sandhill Crane flying over the
cornfield on Wheeler Road around 2:30 Sunday afternoon.  Could not
relocate at the cemetery at Lambert’s Cove. Drove back to the
