Join us for a guided walk of temporary art in Salishan! We'll leave from the lawn in front of the Salishan Family Investment Center, at the corner of E. 44th & 'R' Streets. The walk is under a mile round-trip, and will feature short artist talks about each of the artworks. Free and family-friendly.

As part of the new Eastside Community Center, 12 talented artists are participating in a training program to learn how to create art in the public realm. Each artist will install a temporary art installation June 16-22 at Salishan as part of that training. Installations by: Adika Bell, Dionne Bonner, Jasmine Brown, Lisa Fruichantie, LeShawn Gamble, Tiffanny Hammonds, Gerardo Pena, Elizabeth Reeves, Brian Robinson, Chuck Taylor, Dion Thomas, and James Youngs. This is a Metro Parks Tacoma project, in partnership with Tacoma Office of Arts & Cultural Vitality.
