Walk-Up Sale : Saturday, March 5, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Where: Pierce Conservation District office. 5430 66th Ave East,
Puyallup, WA 98371.
What: 30 species of bare root shrubs, deciduous and conifer trees as
well as protective tree tubes and spray-on animal repellant remaining
from the District's pre-order sale will be available. The complete list
of plants can be found at www.piercecountycd.org . Checks and cash
only. A large number of potted native plants will be available for sale
from Woodbrook Nursery of Gig Harbor.
Driving Directions: From I5, take Hwy 167(Puyallup/River Rd. Exit). At
the Clarks Creek bridge intersection, turn right onto 66th Ave E. The
office is on the right (west) side of the road before you get to the
ninety degree left turn onto Stewart Ave. From Hwy 512, exit at Canyon
Rd. Head north on Canyon Rd. Canyon Rd will dead end into Pioneer Way
E. Turn right and then immediately left onto Stewart Ave. After
crossing the railroad tracks you will turn left onto 66th Ave. E. The
office will be on the left (west) side of the road. To reduce traffic,
please enter at the north gate, and exit through the south gate. There
will be signs at both gates and also signage where to park once you
enter.
