Monday the 6th of January, 2019 will be the first meeting in 2020 of the creative freelance social networking group Freelance Fandango. Tomorrow's meeting will begin a half an hour later than normal at 11:30 and will last for 1.5 hours until 1:00. Future meetings will also be two hours from 11 to 1 every Monday except on federal holidays. Starting this year Freelance Fandango meetings are sponsored by the Graphic Artists Guild, a national organization formed to enable graphic artists and other design professionals to build and maintain successful careers by providing skills and support on the daily tasks of running a creative business and advocating for the creative community with business and government leaders. Guild members will be provided a free coffee when attending. Throughout 2020 at our regular meeting location, the conference room within the Red Elm Cafe at 1114 MLK Jr Way in Tacoma, WA 98405 from eleven to noon. You are encouraged you to attend, enjoy some coffee and waffles with other creative freelance professionals, share recent accomplishments, ask advice, learn tips and tricks of the trade and show off great work. Attendees are also encouraged to work on projects if they feel the need to. We all completely understand. Why work alone in your studio when for an hour a week you can switch it up with people that are living the same schedule. Every freelancer has a little Fandango in them. Come share your talents and your time with other like-minded individuals. This event is free and open to the public.
