Currently, municipal court starts at 5:30 on Thursdays.  City is considering starting municipal court at 3:00 or 3:30.  I would appreciate hearing pros and cons with municipal court at these times.  For example:

1. Has court in afternoon prevented any citizens from appearing?
2. Have there been any issues with obtaining a contract municipal prosecutor for afternoon court (usually the prosecutor is present two days per month)?
3. Has one time worked better than the other for officers who must appear?
4. Are there any legal issues to consider before making starting municipal court at an earlier time?

Appreciate all thoughts.
