yard birds - Branford

From Donna Lorello:

10/25 - Branford yard birds - about 5:30pm - TONS of white-throated
sparrows.  I estimate 50 birds or better covering my entire back yard
sifting through fallen leaves for little pickings.  Mixed in were some
Juncos - both males and females (~ 10 birds), a hermit thrush, and a few
white crowned sparrows.  Two red-winged blackbirds were ground feeding in
the front yard (one adult male, one juvenile male).

Just a question regarding tomorrow for the common ground dove - will people
be visiting despite the business activities that will be going on?  I was
thinking of swinging by tomorrow after work - but if it would be best, I'll
wait until Saturday morning.  Also - I'd be happy to make a donation of some
seed.  Is Dori using regular mixed seed or something in particular to entice
the dove in for feeding?
