Tacoma Community,

This Friday I will be conducting the TCC Orchestra in an exciting program called Beginnings, and I would love to see you in the audience.  We are performing works by two famous classical composers, just as they were getting their reputations established: Richard Strauss, and Ludwig van Beethoven.  Strauss’ Suite in B-flat  was composed when he was just twenty years old, and launched his composing and conducting career.  Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2 in D Major shocked audiences of its time - full of humor, vulgarity, and drama.
