Wildcrafter's Plant Walk with Michael 'Skeeter' Pilarski
Sat, April 25, 9am – 5pm
Swan Creek Park Food Forest, near E. 44th and E. Roosevelt

Michael Pilarski has wildcrafted medicinal plants commercially for over
17 years and farms medicinal plants. He is familiar with both the
Maritime and Inland Northwest species. He makes herb tinctures and
infused oils. He is also a permaculture practitioner and educator.

This workshop will be completely outdoors looking at between 60-100
species of plant species & will explore:
• Common name(s), latin name, & plant family affiliation
• If native, what is it's status on the scale of common to endangered.
If non-native, what is its invasive weed status?
• Traditional and modern medicinal and other uses of the plant
• Time(s) to harvest
• Tools/techniques of harvesting and processing

Class runs from 9am-5pm. Bring a sack lunch. Registration is $50 per
