Cruising America's Great Loop and other inland routes
View all threadsIt's really the Great Loop list John. I'm sure many like myself also belong
to AGLCA (lifetime) and MTOA and probably a few more. At any rate it seems
to be a group who enjoy boating of some kind or at least talking about
boating, and that can't be bad. So lets all keep a positive spin and smile
that the hard water in the north is getting soft and soon we can all be out on
it.

Hi to All,
Below is my answer to Mac:
You asked: "I didn't read messages from GreatLoop for a long time. Is
this still alive ?"
The answer is Yes, Georges sends out a plea for donations to fund it every
year and evidently gets enough funds to keep the forum alive for another
year.
That said, the group really isn't a Great Loop forum, but rather a list of
"SnowBirds" (who are too "low on funds -- aka cheap) and can't afford or
can't be bothered to read the forum posts on the AGLCA membership forum.
