Hello! I'm a local comic artist, looking to bring more comics activities to the area, and *I'm scouting about for a venue*. The first Saturday in October (10/4/25 this year) is typically when people participate in 24 Hour Comic Day. Created by Scott McCloud, this is an event where people gather in a shared workspace to each make a 24-page comic in 24 hours. Frankly, I don't have the time or energy for that! So *I want to start a 10 Hour Comic Day*, gathering comkiers of all levels to make a 10-page comic in 10 hours. I'm thinking of something along the lines of a conference room, tables and chairs. Some outlets would be nice, but there would never be enough for everyone, so I wouldn't advertise that there would be any power access. Perhaps a place that allows food, so people could eat their lunch without leaving.
