Looking for places to get out for a ride and/or OWS? We have many at this
time of year including 5 of the next 6 days (you're on your own for
Friday... maybe join one of the two RUNegades
https://www.facebook.com/groups/theRUNegades/?__cft__[0]=AZWxculaBSSQaVtvqflhrxfq8NXYCQ3R-9YCG0K-m5rg27hX_6YyQRINlUzDgFwzhQuLJzDTT8LX1urT7iAR2Jc3U5xFTG0im114-1PMcDnT38MyW_GWmzPIpwC85c2trZ4lAy92fZIoyd_nOxfZZ2JJTx2AuDTNzAyxvYbBe3G8-tSrL8SAIYneO3HUHRPjZUnvVphuJc0iiuhrNGLdGs_u&__tn__=-UK-R

run that day!). And the weather situation is looking pretty awesome for the
majority of it! All that we need is for you to join us... If you've never
done so, start this week!
Here's the rundown (see "This Week in Tri Club" for the details:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/msgators/permalink/2889450724573014)...
- Tuesday / TONIGHT (70s and sunny!): 2 chances! French Creek Racing
https://www.facebook.com/groups/216774858507294/user/100029146076594/?__cft__[0]=AZWxculaBSSQaVtvqflhrxfq8NXYCQ3R-9YCG0K-m5rg27hX_6YyQRINlUzDgFwzhQuLJzDTT8LX1urT7iAR2Jc3U5xFTG0im114-1PMcDnT38MyW_GWmzPIpwC85c2trZ4lAy92fZIoyd_nOxfZZ2JJTx2AuDTNzAyxvYbBe3G8-tSrL8SAIYneO3HUHRPjZUnvVphuJc0iiuhrNGLdGs_u&__tn__=-]K-R's
OWS Race and Gators coached intervals ride. You can complete an event
and/or become part of the exclusive Gators Ice Cream Club by participating!
If you'd like to join me, I'll be departing the Dog Park at 4:55pm sharp
for the 4.5 mile bike ride to the FCR OWS venue (bonus Ice Cream Club
interval!), participating in the 5:30pm 1/2 mile wave, topping off my
nutrition stores (i.e. eating a burger), then riding back to the Dog Park
to join the intervals ride to earn my entry into the Ice Cream Club. And,
I'll probably wrap-up after the ride with a short run to complete "Tri
Tuesday".
- Wednesday (80s and sunny!): Mid-Atlantic Multisport
https://www.facebook.com/groups/216774858507294/user/100063557951313/?__cft__[0]=AZWxculaBSSQaVtvqflhrxfq8NXYCQ3R-9YCG0K-m5rg27hX_6YyQRINlUzDgFwzhQuLJzDTT8LX1urT7iAR2Jc3U5xFTG0im114-1PMcDnT38MyW_GWmzPIpwC85c2trZ4lAy92fZIoyd_nOxfZZ2JJTx2AuDTNzAyxvYbBe3G8-tSrL8SAIYneO3HUHRPjZUnvVphuJc0iiuhrNGLdGs_u&__tn__=-]K-R's
OWS and, for a change, we will not be experiencing London weather
conditions! If you don't have a season pass you can purchase a session pass.
- Thursday (mid-70s to mid-80s, partly sunny to cloudy): Take advantage
of either the FCR OWS training and/or the club coached out and back ride
that will feature 2 (if not 3) pace groups accommodating all paces from
12mph to 20+mph. And in case you need another reason to get out that night,
we'll follow the workouts with our first Thursday night social at the Perky!
- Saturday morning (upper 60s to low 70s, cloudy, could be some
precipitation, but you'll be wet anyhow): FCR's Saturday morning OWS
training option.
- Sunday morning/early afternoon (low 60s to mid 70s, partly to mostly
sunny): Time for a tour... The French Creek Iron Tour! This cycling
event featuring many distance options including 11, 20, 32, 50, 62, 75, and
100 miles! Each route features at least 1 fully stocked rest stop and all
routes will have a rest stop at least every 15-20 miles. I'm doing the 62
mile course and we have others doing the same or longer. We'd also love to
have some of you take on the shorter distances. Seems like it'll be sunny
enough that by the end of the ride people will be commenting "You have an
IRON TAN!" If you'd like more info or to register (note: there is NO day of
registration):

And if you'd prefer to swim rather than ride, FCR also has a Sunday morning
OWS option.
Looking forward to seeing some, hopefully many, of you tonight, tomorrow
night, Thursday night, and Sunday morning!
