How do new residents get added to the e-mail group?

We have another new neighbor that moved in several months ago. I asked if they were going to the Easter Egg Hunt and she said she didn’t know anything about it, and didn’t know about the e-mail discussion group.

When bought in LSR, our neighbor told us about the e-mail group a few months after we moved in. I don’t remember if I contacted the BOD or Wildwood Management to be added, but I wouldn’t have known about this discussion group if a neighbor had not told me.

So….my questions are…what are the normal procedures for new owners to join the group? Was there something I missed in paperwork when we bought our house? I’m just thinking there might be others out there as well that don’t know about the e-mail group, about the Easter gathering, or any of the other wonderful things our neighborhood puts on. Also, who do I contact to get our new neighbor added?

Courtney,

Good morning.  The process is for new homeowners to receive a packet from Wildwood a few weeks after they move in.  Included is a President’s letter that welcomes them to the neighborhood as well gives them detail regarding the neighborhood services with contact information.  Part of that is the discussion thread sign up detail.  They will also receive a welcome basket with some tasty goodies.

I am not sure what happened here, or better, what didn’t happen.  This is something that we need to do better at.  We want to welcome our new residents and let them be part of the neighborhood.  If you will have them reach out to me by email or if you will send me their contact info, I will make diuretic they receive this.

In the interim, I will put a sign at the front of the entrance so anyone coming in or out will be informed.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
