Until Next Year!

There was a hint of rain in the air, but nothing could dampen the smiles from all the boys and girls lined up beside the lawns. The Easter bunny was the star of the show and was like the Pied Piper with a line of kids looking for hugs and parents looking for photos that are sure to make their holiday cards. We wondered if 2000 eggs were too many but 60 seconds later, there was no doubt that we could easily have used more.

Thank you to everyone that supported our annual Easter Egg hunt. It was a great joy to have everyone coming together as a community and for the kids, who had LOTS OF FUN! Thank you to each of the families who gave us the use of their beautifully manicured lawns. Thanks to all the neighborhood egg-fillers for pitching in to help fill close on 2,000 eggs! And finally, to everyone who came and helped on the morning of - to scatter these eggs and serve coffee & donuts. It was all so very much appreciated. Until Next Bunny Season! - Eileen.

Exterior Improvements

When you are considering any changes to the exterior of your home, please remember that all exterior landscape and/or architectural changes need to be approved by the HOA before work begins. If you have any questions, please visit one of our monthly meetings.

If you are considering replacing an old fence or growing a hedge, here are the Protective Restrictions as stated in our CC&R's that have been in place from the founding of Vuecrest 72 years ago. Check out the Vuecrest.net website for full CC&R’s.

No fence, hedge or wall situated anywhere in any lot or building site shall be higher than 6 ft. above the Existing Grade, nor shall any fence, hedge or wall situated on each street side of any lot have a height greater than 4 ft. above the Existing Grade. For the purposes of this Section, Existing Grade is the elevation of the surface of the ground at the location of the proposed fence or other improvement, existing prior to commencement of construction of the proposed fence or other improvement. No trees or shrubs on any of the Property shall be permitted to reach a height that will obstruct the main-floor view of the adjacent or neighboring properties…

Neighborhood Break-in

There was a reported neighborhood break-in on April 12th at 1:00A.  Entry was through the master bedroom window. The master closet was ransacked with no major loss of property due to a home occupant calling the police. This should be a reminder to all of us that we should be diligent to keep our homes secure at all times and keep alert for yourselves and your neighbors. Please report any illegal activity to the Bellevue Police and your Vuecrest HOA.

ALERT! Package Thefts

There have been THREE reported package thefts in Vuecrest this week by someone driving a LIME branded rental car. The police want us to get a license plate and be called when it is sighted.
