Vuecrest Lamp Post Rejuvenation
Before we can clean and paint the lamp posts, the vegetation must be cleared to approximately two feet on all sides so the painters will have room to do their work. Also, you’ll notice that some of the lamp posts have years of dirt accumulation at the base and need to be dug out. It will cost the community more if each homeowner does not address these issues by August 5th. After that time, the HOA will need to pay for this service to be accomplished. It would be very helpful and cost effective if you will prepare the lamp post on your own property. The posts will be cleaned, sanded, primed, and painted by a permitted and contracted company. Please look at the following pictures that illustrate the work to be done by the homeowners with a lamp post on their property.
These are examples of lamp posts that cannot be cleaned and painted because of vegetation and dirt accumulation. The first picture requires aggressive trimming to get at least 2 feet of working area around each side of the post. The second picture shows how the base of the lamp post has been covered by varying depths of soil and needs to be dug out. The third picture just has some vegetation touching the upper portion of the lamp post that needs to be trimmed.
This next picture illustrates what the lamp post area needs to look like before painting begins. Notice how much dirt needed to be removed from the base. The next photo has had the vegetation trimmed from its entire height enabling a person to access it from all sides.
What A Difference a Good Neighbor Makes!
When neighbors adhere to the Vuecrest Rules and Regulations that we all agreed to when we purchased our homes, everyone wins!! Look at the difference in view perspective! We appreciate our GOOD NEIGHBORS at 9676 Evergreen and 9668 Evergreen for trimming their vegetation!

Wrapping UP Repaving Project
Don’t you love our new streets?! Smooth as silk! There’s still a bit of minor finish work going on throughout the neighborhood, but that should be wrapping up by August 7th. Vuecrest Patriot NEEDED!
Are you looking for a worthy community service project? This opportunity allows you to serve your country and community at the same time. It takes very little effort, but is well worth your guardianship. The flag in the Vuecrest esplanade waves proudly 24/7 365 days a year. We just need someone to occasionally monitor the flag in case it needs adjustments or replacement, and lower it to half-mast when necessary. Please contact directors@vuecrest.net mailto:directors@vuecrest.net to get more information and/or volunteer for this opportunity.
