Welcome!
The inaugural Hampton Snowbird Rendezvous is right around the corner!  We have an exciting program planned and the 2013 HSR Committee and volunteers look forward to meeting each of you and to welcoming you to our city.  I wanted to take this opportunity to update all of you on a few things prior to your arrival.
As a reminder, if you have not done so already, please be sure to reserve your slip for the event by contacting the Hampton Public Piers at 757-727-1276 or via email atdockmaster@downtownhampton.com.
The USCG Auxiliary has graciously agreed to have representatives on hand both Friday and Sunday to ensure that all boaters that wish to be inspected can be accommodated.  Though we will have sign-up sheets at check-in for specific time slots, please let me know via email in advance if you wish to be inspected on Friday or Sunday so that we can appropriately schedule the Auxiliary folks.
In addition to our line-up of educational seminars on Saturday, we have also added "Destinations & Diversions" roundtable discussions on Sunday morning.  Please be sure to visit our web site at http://hamptonrendezvous.weebly.com for the most updated seminar and event information as well as our speaker bios.
Sign-up sheets will also be available upon check-in to attend the guided tour of Historic Ft. Monroe and the Casemate Museum and to sign up for one-on-one Onboard Communications assistance.
Shuttle service will be available throughout the weekend for provisioning runs to West Marine and our local grocery store, Farm Fresh.
We have a wonderful group of sponsors supporting HSR this year.  Many will be on hand during the event to introduce themselves personally and provide information on their services.  We truly appreciate their participation.  This event could not be possible without them. Please visit our web site for a complete list of our sponsors.
We look forward to seeing you in a few weeks!  Space is still available, so spread the word!  The more, the merrier!  If you have any questions at all regarding the event, please do not hesitate to contact us at HamptonRendezvous@gmail.com.
