Loscalzo, P. Comins, F. Mantlik, N. Bonomo, F. Gallo.  New this year was a 1.5
hour indoor slide presentation first by PC & FM.  Then we went out to the beach
and sandbars to view the high-tide (12:17) concentration of shorebirds.  We
initially stayed together as one group, but eventually split up into 3 groups
(sandbar, beach, outer marsh platform).  Twelve species shorebirds (39 species
overall), including nice views of all the common migrant species.  The last of
us left about 3:15pm. Weather: sunny, becoming cloudy to bright overcast,
70-75F, calm-light wind. Great light conditions for viewing.
