Presumably everyone is caught up on this now, but since I sent this out yesterday morning, I figured for the sake of completeness I should followup and let you all know that the President DID NOT, as it turns out, issue an executive order yesterday on adding the citizenship question to the 2020 census (which would have created something of a constitutional crisis in the process) -- but instead he finally backed down on that, and issued an order calling on agencies to turn over data on citizenship to the Commerce Department. Can't wait to see how that turns out.
For more on his backing down, see this story, "Trump: Admin ‘not backing down’ on determining citizenship" --
Also, as it's a cabinet position relevant to this group: the U.S. Secretary of Labor has resigned. I don't have a link, but if you haven't been following the news, just google "labor secretary" and "covering up for pedophilia" and you'll be all caught up.
And thus ends another inspiring week in our nation's capital.
