Observers:        Claude Radley, Donny Moore, Hugh Kent, Liz Kent

Visitors:
We thank all our visitors today including Conal, Claude, Larry and Donny.
We always appreciate the company, on busy days as well as the slow ones.

Weather:
The weather today was beautiful, warm, sunny and slightly breezy. Too bad
the breeze was south. We still had a great day!

Raptor Observations:
Despite the wind, we saw a nice variety of raptors today. This morning
started out with sharpies and two gray ghost northern harriers flying
together over the beach. There were more harriers throughout the day with
merlins, kestrels and a couple peregrines as well. Buteos were down today
with only 5 red-tailed hawks seen. Turkey vultures were far to the north
today and we counted 241.

Non-raptor Observations:
Today, again, was dominated by yellow-rumped warblers around the tower. All
of the other warblers were absent except for palm and blackpoll. We had
four different sparrow species. There were no new species seen today,
however the number of waterfowl on the marsh is rapidly increasing.

Predictions:
Tomorrow will have strong south winds and possibly some rain in the
afternoon. raptors might be flying north again tomorrow however we should
see sharpies, kestrels and the odd harrier close to the tower.
