Re: [PUP] Mail service while cruising

I'm fortunate to work for a mail-order company. All my mail goes there,
and they FedEx it to me wherever I am. We leave a short list of
periodicals, catalogs, etc. that we don't want forwarded..  I think it's
dangerous to have someone weed out mail in envelopes, as I have myself
almost tossed refund checks from Discover, passwords, etc. thinking they
were "junk." Because we are generally cruising in the Eastern Caribbean
five months a year, we have re-scheduled renewals of subscriptions,
documentation, insurance, etc to occur outsidfe this time.

Many of my cruising friends use St. Brendan's Isle to forward mail, and
say they are very good.

I'm getting ready to set off on an extended tour of duty and expect
to be well out of reach of the US Post Office for a year or more.

How do folks handle getting mail?  There are just some things you
need to have even when you're cruising, like bank and credit card
statement, and of course USCG documentation renewal forms!  Are
there any services that you can use to collect your mail, and
periodically have them send you an international overnight FedEx
shipment?  Do they weed out the just mail first?
