Hello Georgs, Scott, and all the PUPies.

My name is Dave Fritsch.  My wife Jamie and I  have
sailed the waters of Long Island Sound and the East
coast from Halifax to Florida, Bermuda, the Bahamas
and south to Trinidad, and one trip around the Pond.
I have been sailing since 1970 and on the water
off-and-on since I was age 12.  KVACK, a Vancouver 42,
has given us great service since 1985 and is now in
the market, lying in Beaufort, NC.  Jamie and I look
forward to taking delivery late next summer on a
Diesel Duck 46+2 (hull number 4) being built for us by
the good folks at Seahorse Marine in Zhuhai, China.
We plan to bring her home on her own bottom.

Unlike Dave & Dorothy Nagle (hull no 2), and Randal &
Ruth Johnson (hull no 6), we have no name for our new
yacht and are waiting for inspiration.  We have,
however selected paint and upholstery!

Dave

Considering the Duckishness of the KVACK,  perhaps "IRON KVACK" might be fine?

Mike Slavitch and Mike Maurice,

Thanks for the naming ideas; Pegasus, Hippocampus, and
IRON KVACK have been added to the list.  Jamie and I
really appreciate your efforts to help us.

We are, for the moment, trying to decide whether we
shall name her with respect or with tongue in cheek.
We do like our yacht name to bring a smile to our
faces.

Dave
