Good morning LSR and Happy Tuesday.
You did it again this year. There are lights, lights and more lights. We are bigger and brighter than years past. We are sharing our holiday joy through our displays.
Whether it’s bright colorful lights, characters of all kinds or serene peaceful settings, LSR has something for everyone. From the entrance to all streets and cul-de-sacs our community is showing the holiday spirit.
You can definitely feel the excitement in the air, see it in the smiles on faces as they walk and drive our streets. It is still my favorite and the most wonderful time of the year.
Two great things are happening in the next few weeks.
First I want to make sure you mark your calendars for this Saturday Dec. 10th for the annual Holiday Event. 9:30am - 11:00 am in the park.
Thank you to everyone that works so hard to make this happen.
There will be lot of activities for everyone. Bring your lawn chairs and a neighbor. Also, be on the look-out for a surprise guest at the event! Yes, the man, the myth, the legend himself.
Second, to help celebrate and recognize those that work so hard on the decorations, LSR HOA is sponsoring a contest to include the best decorated house and the best overall decorated street and the most festive neighbors.
However, several streets have already stepped up their game this year and it's going to be an exciting race. Let’s go LSR, you are looking good.
We ask you to have all your decorations and displays finished by Saturday, Dec. 17th. The judges will be driving through our neighborhood with announcement and placement of signs to follow on the weekend.
Remember, the best gift you can give anyone this year is your time to help others along with your smile. Spend time with your friends and family creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Most of all, be safe, enjoy the holidays, stay warm and tell someone how special they are.
