Hello,
The Tahoma Audubon Society's Education Committee and instructors have
created an online survey to ask for input from the Tacoma/Pierce
County-area communities who might be interested in taking or teaching
classes in 2015.
The short SurveyMonkey should take only 5-10 minutes. Please note that the
class offerings are aimed at older teens and adults, and are offered in
informal education settings (not K-12 classes). We foster lifelong learning
and nature appreciation.
Your survey responses will help us identify the kinds of classes that
people are most interested in, and then we will work to find instructors
and make them available in 2015 and beyond. We need more instructors, and I
hope the survey will also help people to offer to share their skills!
Finally, I envision these classes to be different from our current
offerings. Instead of being a multi-week class with field trips, they might
be a one time, 2 hour or 1 day class. They are also more specialized
classes.
If you are interested in learning more about birds, plants, citizen science
or backyard habitats, please take a minute to click the link below and
complete the survey. Sharing personal information is optional, and only
necessary if you want us to contact you to follow up.

Thank you for your time!
Best,
Krystal
