You’re invited to the Surfrider June general meeting, where we will finalize our efforts to persuade Tacoma to adopt a ban on routine commercial distribution of plastic bags. The City Council recently passed important policies aimed at reducing waste, including a call for a July report about how a plastic bag ordinance will help reduce waste city-wide.
