Wild Wind IV has about 1000 sq.ft. figuring wall to wall in the main part of
the boat, not to mention the back deck under roof of another 200+ sq.ft.  Wild
Wind IV was also designed to have a low profile, air height 13.5', to go the
entire length of the Erie canal and has done so. WWIV could have more under
roof space if one went up.

In regard to a beam sea, a stabilized mono would have a better ride that a
cat.  As we have seen if the stabilization fails, disaster can strike.

Trying to compare mono's and cats can be chased around forever.  The fact that
a 60' boat with all that interior room and relatively small amount of HP can
run at 20 knots can not be over looked.
