Weather: Temps ranged from 0C to 5C. The wind was moderate (around 15 km/h) beginning WNW but appearing to swing to nearly straight W by the end of the count period. No clouds began the morning, but increased to about 40% coverage by the end of the count period. Raptor Observations: Conditions certainly looked better than the final tally of 115 that resulted, but two more subadult Golden Eagles were in the mix. Most birds were increasingly high as the afternoon progressed, and the apparent wind shift described above appeared to squash what flight there was.
