Observation end  time: 13:00:00
Total observation time: 6 hours

Official Counter:        Chris Burris

Observers:

Visitors:
Thanks to Chris B for doing today's count on what ended up being a slow
day.

Weather:
Temps ranged from 0C to 5C. The wind was moderate (around 15 km/h)
beginning WNW but appearing to swing to nearly straight W by the end of the
count period. No clouds began the morning, but increased to about 40%
coverage by the end of the count period.

Raptor Observations:
Conditions certainly looked better than the final tally of 115 that
resulted, but two more subadult Golden Eagles were in the mix. Most birds
were increasingly high as the afternoon progressed, and the apparent wind
shift described above appeared to squash what flight there was.

Non-raptor Observations:
Non-raptors included: Ring-billed Gull, Canada Goose, Belted Kingfisher,
American Crow, Blue Jay, European Starling, Mourning Dove, White-throated
Sparrow, Song Sparrow, Dark-eyed Junco, Golden-crowned Kinglet,
White-breasted Nuthatch, Black-capped Chickadee,  Northern Flicker, Downy
Woodpecker, Hairy Woodpecker, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Pileated Woodpecker,
Cedar Waxwing, Red-winged Blackbird, Common Grackle, American Robin,
American Pipit, Hermit Thrush, Eastern Blueburd, Purple Finch,
Yellow-rumped Warbler, American Goldfinch, and Northern Cardinal.
