Ross's Goose (Hamilton): The pair of juveniles continued at Bayfront Park.
Greater White-fronted Goose (Durham): One bird was seen again this
week, this time at Whitby Harbour on January 27..
Greater White-fronted Goose (Norfolk): One bird was at the Long Point
causeway January 24.
GREEN-WINGED TEAL (EURASIAN) (Toronto): The adult male continued to be
seen at G. Ross Lord Park at least to January 22.
King Eider (Niagara): One young male remained in Jordan Harbour.to at least
January 27. A different individual was in Grimsby January 28.
Harlequin Duck (Algoma): The two females were reported again at
Whitefish Island this week.
Harlequin Duck (Bruce): the male at Lions Head was seen this week again
January 23-28.
Harlequin Duck (Durham): the adult male was off Whitby January 24 and 25.
Harlequin Duck (Middlesex): The young male continued near the North London
Athletic fields.
Harlequin Duck (Peel): The adult male and female continued in Mississauga.
Barrow's Goldeneye (Durham): An adult male continued off Whitby.
Barrow's Goldeneye (Grey): The male from earlier in the winter was
seen again this week off the Owen Sound waterfront.
Barrow's Goldeneye (Ottawa): A male continued on the Rideau River in
the vicinity of Strathcona Park.
White-winged Dove (Simcoe): The bird continued in Coldwater around
10 Harriet Street.
Purple Sandpiper (Durham): One bird was at Thickson's Point January 22-25.
Purple Sandpiper (Essex): Two birds were photographed in Leamington January
24.
Purple Sandpiper (Toronto): One bird was at Tommy Thompson Park, reported
January 22.
SLATY-BACKED GULL (Simcoe): An adult was in Barrie January 23 and 24.
American White Pelican (Norfolk): The Long Point bird resurfaced again this
week, reported January 25 along the causeway.
Great Egret (Chatham-Kent): Up to four birds were reported at Jeanette's
Creek Boat Launch.
Great Egret (Lambton): One bird was photographe din Sombra January 24.
Black Vulture (Niagara): Up to six birds were reported this week
from Queenston.
Black Vulture (Prince Edward): The bird reported last week in Picton was
seen again this week.
Gyrfalcon (Essex): One grey morph was photographed near Kingsville this
week.
ROCK WREN (Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry): One bird surfaced on a Facebook
ID forum this week and has been present for "a while". Unfortunately the
homeowners do not want visitors at this time due to Covid.
Townsend's Solitaire (Niagara): Last week's bird was reported to at least
January 22.
Swainson's Thrush (Toronto): The Humber Bay east bird remains! It was seen
multiple times this week to at least January 25.
Wood Thrush (Ottawa): A bird found last week (but reported after last
week's summary) was seen at least to January 22 near Dale Avenue.
GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW (Kenora): The young bird is still visiting a
feeder in Sioux
Lookout.
Harris's Sparrow (Thunder Bay): One bird continues at feeders
near Sistonens Corners.
SPOTTED TOWHEE (Algoma): One bird was photographed this week near Atlas
Street in Sault Ste Marie; however it has been present since late fall.
Yellow-headed Blackbird (Algoma): The male between Iron Bridge and
Thessalon continued this week..
Yellow-headed Blackbird (Chatham-Kent): At least two males continued in a
large blackbird flock at Peers Wetland, Wallaceburg.
Western Meadowlark (Thunder Bay): The Manitouwadge bird continued this week.
Dickcissel (Norfolk): One bird was at a feeder in Port Rowan.
