FREE CONCERT BY BEN VON WILDENHAUS THIS FRIDAY, 4:30 AT MINKA!

Sync into the sight - and sound - of a 4ft. white cube on Pacific Ave.
emitting the live musical stylings of Ben von Wildenhaus on Friday, Dec.
21, at MINKA! Wildenhaus is a Tacoma-based guitarist, performer, and
composer whose style has been called "deep noir" (New York Music Daily) and
"a tight confluence of meditative anti-shredding" (Spin Magazine).

He received a Tacoma Artists Initiative Project (TAIP) Grant to build the
"Portable Venetian Blind Stage," upon which he will perform deconstructions
of classic holiday song on the sidewalk in front of MINKA (821 Pacific Ave,
Tacoma) at 4:30pm. His distinctive style has been compared to that of Marc
Ribot and Jim Campiglongo.

Dress warm, and join us in welcoming Ben von Wildenhaus as he performs a
free, 35-minute set this Friday!

Regular hours for MINKA Art + Vintage are Thursday through Sunday, 12-5 and
by appointment. @minkatacoma
