Help the City of Tacoma promote recycling at Tacoma's Freedom Fair on July 4th! We are looking for volunteers to help monitor recycling stations and engage with fair-goers along Ruston Way during this July 4th celebration. Volunteers will educate and remind people to recycle their cans and bottles, and will make sure the recycling containers do not get contaminated with garbage. As a thank you, you will be given a food voucher that can be used at several food booths during the event. This effort to divert waste and encourage proper recycling is part of Tacoma's Green Events Program, and is helping the Freedom Fair become a Green Excellence event!
