This next season builds on a successful 2023-24, which saw more than 67,000 visitors attend almost 100 events within the Historic Theater District's three venues - Pantages Theater Rialto Theater, and Theatre on the Square. "It has been wonderful to welcome so many people through the doors of the theaters to enjoy thrilling performances from artists like Dolly Parton and Jason Bonham, as well as to inspiring community events such as the Pride Awards", states Lynn Carlotto, Tacoma City Theaters' General Manager. "We hosted movie star John Cusack and Saturday Night Live's Colin Jost during the summer, so I'd say this season is off to a pretty exciting start!" Guests at Thursday's happy hour will hear about upcoming events while enjoying light refreshments, listening to live performances, and meeting members of the theater's eight Resident Arts Organizations. 2024-25 event highlights include Broadway and TV star Kristin Chenoweth on October 5, popular medical comedian Nurse John on October 20, K-Pop group Loossemble on October 21, Tacoma Youth Symphony Association's Costume Concert on October 26, and the annual family holiday favorite The Nutcracker from Tacoma City Ballet in December.
