- Write253 is hosting its first teen poetry and spoken word summer camp:
DOWNTOWN POETS! *

The camp will be held August 6-23 at the Washington State History
Museum. Space is limited, so if you would like to apply, it’s best to do so

- Lunch and snacks will be provided during the camp. So will all
materials and supplies. All you need to do is show up!
- Pre-registration for the Downtown Poets for teens can be found here

- Pre-registration for the Summer Writers elementary school camp is

- These camps are completely free, thanks to funding from Rotary 8
Tacoma and Graduate Tacoma, and the generosity of the Washington State
History Museum.
If you would like to make a donation to the camp, we are specifically in
need of food donations (snacks, boxed lunches, and beverages work best)
