* January Sketch-out for Urban Sketchers-Tacoma*-- Watson's Nursery in Puyallup. _All_ interested sketchers are welcome to join us...all ages...all levels of experience with art. Participating in Urban Sketchers-Tacoma is free; we work to minimize booking sketching at places/events that require any entry fee. Minimal equipment works for a sketch-outing: something to draw with and paper, canvas, or sketchbook to draw on. Many of our Sketchers use pencil, pens of various sorts, and watercolor. Others use pastels, acrylics and oil paint. We find 'traveling light' to be a great benefit in our explorations of the greater-Tacoma area. *Our ****Jan. 4**^th **. sketch-outing is from 10 am -12:30.*However, Watson's opens at 9...if you want to get an early start with your sketching. We'll meet inside the front door at 10 am and share our sketches and join for a group photo at 12:30. (Watson's usually offers free coffee or other beverage(s) in the center-back area of the store.) If you have it, it would be a good idea to bring a light folding chair or stool for your sketching comfort.
