Hi all -- my bad on the title and question -- I need the dimensions of the PIs for the 5000 series scopes. Hope someone can help...

Mechanically, the TM500 and 5000 'scope PIs are identical. The ONLY
difference is the card-edge connector keying slots.

They are not compatible electrically.

In fact, the TM500 MFs and the 5000 'scope MFs are often damaged by
shoving in the wrong PI.

I posted the TM500 dimensions earlier. Tge 5000 'scoipe are the same.

I forgot to add, the TM5000 are also identical mechanically to the TM500
and 5000 'scopes.

The TM5000 and TM500 are sometimes electrically compatible, but don't bet
on it. Compatibility is a case-by-case thing.

FYI:

5000 PIs are identified:    5Axx, 5Bxx, 5Cxx, 5Lxx ...
(digit 5; letter for function; two digit sequence)

TM500 PIs are identified:  AM50x, DC50x, PS50x ...
(two letter function; numbers 50; one digit sequence)

TM5000 PIs are identified: DM5001, PS5004, ...
(two letter function; numbers 500; one digit sequence)

As a follow up to John's post, the TM500 PI's will mostly work in the
TM5000.  The TM5000 plugins usually have a GPIB card sticking out the
back and if so, will not fit into most TM500 mainframes. Some of the
GPIB cards can be retracted, but most can't.
