LSR—-two words.  You Rock.

Everyone did a great job this year for the lighting/ decorating contest.  LSR is a true holiday extravaganza.

The winners are in.  Signs have been posted. Our community spirit rocks even more than years before.  There are so many homes decorated this year. From Olaf, a 10 ft. Reindeer, dragons, Star Wars, Giant Santa’s to serene candles adorning windows to lights to music to nativities to inflatables of all kinds, there is something for everyone to enjoy.  Whether it’s bright colorful lights or serene peaceful settings, LSR has it all.

When you walk or drive the neighborhood, you can’t help but feel the holiday cheer. Many residents participated this year adding their personal touches.  It will definitely make your heart warm and put a smile on your face. What an awesome community we live in.

And without further ado here are the results.
For the best decorated house...... drum roll please.........27723 April Dawn. Congrats to Angie and Don Krumnow.  Your house is awesome.  I know Angie did most of it, if not all the lights and decorations herself.  She was in the trees stringing lights.  What a great job.  From colorful lights, a nativity scene, wreaths  and more lights.  A definite must see.

For the best decorated/ festive street, April Dawn takes the honors this year.  Thank you April Dawn.  A variety of themes are seen throughout the street.  Colored lights, Santa catching a big bass from his boat, a peaceful nativity scene, Santa and his reindeer, candy canes, snowmen and much more.  The street definitely showed the talent and displayed the pride of each resident.

For second place on best decorated house is 27611 Heritage Pass.  Wow, Mary and James Phillips out did themselves this year. They put a lot of work in making their property a lighted wonderland.  The huge lighted Christmas tree was built by hand. James and Mary prove there is a lot you can do with a Home Depot bucket, a pole, concrete and lights. You are a huge hit. Large Christmas  ornaments hang from the trees.  Candy canes can be found here.  Santa and reindeer are front and center.

To UL and Audra Armstrong at 9007 Limestone Pass and Chris and Missy Renken, 9011 Limestone Pass, Congrats. You are the most festive  neighbors.  From hanging tree ornaments to a giant Christmas tree, these neighbors share the same theme. Being Awesome.

On a side note, Chris also built the lighted Christmas Tree that represents ingenuity at its best.  Missy took photos for the Santa visit last Saturday and helped the ladies put on another first class event.  Thank you for all you do to create memories for others to enjoy.

We can’t overlook this award.  And the Griswold award goes to 9118 Overlook Ridge.  Verdie and Gabe Gonzales, you did an amazing job.  Light shows, music, a giant Grinch, Santa along with characters of all sorts.  Without a doubt, Clark would be proud.  Cousin Eddie would raise his reindeer cup of eggnog to your great achievement. Both Verdie and Gabe have done an excellent job.  Tell them how much we appreciate them.

For the final award, Heritage Pass received the honorable mention for most festive street.  Minions, toy soldiers, lighted tree ornaments, giant lighted Christmas trees and Frosty are just a few of the characters you will see.  You will even find a bear in a box.

Take time to congratulate each of these winners. Many hours went into the preparation and presentation.

A special thank you to everyone for being part of making our community a festival of lights and holiday cheer. Your efforts have and will continue to bring smiles to many.

As you spend time with your friends and family.  Be safe, stay healthy, enjoy the holidays, stay warm and share a smile.

Happy Holidays
