just got the long-awaited call from Lock 7, they got the order to close
their valves.  That means Lock 8 will start sending me water shortly
and Tug 44 will float again.  Or sink.  Or something.

Fred , We all anxiously await your report. It would be nice if you could
clean out all of the mud that's got into the 'through hull' fittings.
