CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS! Creative Colloquy <https://www.creativecolloquy.com/> is collaborating with the Ground to Sound Film Festival <https://www.groundtosoundfilmfest.com/> and invites writers to submit their best works of flash fiction and poetry exploring the intricate connection between the bustling Tacoma landscape and its unique watersheds. The interplay of city and sea has inspired countless stories, and we are eager to showcase unique perspectives on this dynamic relationship. Submission Guidelines: We are seeking original and imaginative flash fiction and poetry that delve into the synergy between our lives and the water on which we depend. Submissions may explore themes such as opportunities for urban sustainability, the responsibility of coastal communities or the critical impact of city life on marine ecosystems. Call is open to writers of all levels and backgrounds living in the Puget Sound region. Previously unpublished works preferred. Selected authors must be able to perform their pieces live on March 1st, 2024, in Tacoma, WA.
